Sav Seeks Patent for AI-Driven Website and Domain Name Generator

Domain name registrar Sav has filed a patent application for a novel system that leverages artificial intelligence to automatically generate websites and suggest related domain names. The application, titled “Systems and Methods for Automatically Generating a Website and Selecting a Related Domain Name Using Generative Artificial Intelligence” (Application No. 18/654246), outlines a method for using AI to streamline the creation of websites and domain names.

The patent application details a process in which a user provides a description of a business or organization. The system then scans the internet to identify similar websites, ranking them based on traffic. Using this information, the system generates a website and suggests a relevant domain name.

Sav has also applied for three related patents, each with variations on the core concept: one for suggesting a domain name, another for providing customer service, and a third for integrating related sales campaigns.

The application was submitted in May and was published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office last week. Sav.com founder Anthos Chrysanthou is named as the inventor on the patent application.

This development highlights the increasing integration of generative AI features into website building platforms, aiming to simplify and enhance the website creation process.
