Starting Wednesday, September 4, domain investors selling through Afternic will face increased commissions unless they opt out of the new Afternic Boost program. Under the new structure, commissions for domains parked with Afternic will rise from 15% to 20%, while those parked elsewhere will see a jump from 25% to 30%.
Afternic Boost promises enhanced features, but many of these have been available for some time.
Opting out of the program will disable these features, but some investors are reconsidering their approach in light of the new commission rates.
