Since its inception in 2013, Readymag, a browser-based website builder, has gained popularity among independent designers and in-house teams. Honored with Fast Company’s 2024 Innovation by Design Award for established excellence, Readymag remains dedicated to supporting the creative community with its no-code web design tools and extensive typographic and animation features.

“Readymag is a niche digital tool perfectly suited for design enthusiasts who prioritize aesthetics,” says Diana Kasay, co-founder and CEO. Its flexible platform is ideal for every stage of a creative project—from initial pitches and prototypes to final website designs—allowing users to break free from the limitations of traditional template-based solutions.

With a current team of 50 employees, Readymag has matured into a self-sustaining business, operating without external funding. The company has continuously introduced new features to enhance design capabilities. Notable advancements include Shots, a feature that transforms videos into interactive, viewer-controlled experiences, and improvements to the Move effect with Bezier curve adjustments. In February 2024, Readymag integrated Lottie, an open-source vector animation format, providing a modern alternative to traditional GIFs.

Additionally, in March 2024, Readymag relaunched its Designing Women initiative to combat gender inequality in design. The initiative now includes the ReadyLaunch Grant, which offers four fellowships to support design projects and amplify the voices of female-identifying, nonbinary, and others facing gender-related challenges in the industry.
