CSC, a leading enterprise domain registrar and expert in domain security, has announced a technical partnership with Palo Alto Networks to enhance domain security for users of Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSOAR, XSIAM, and XPANSE solutions. This collaboration aims to leverage CSC’s domain name, DNS, and SSL portfolio data alongside Cortex’s intelligence to better identify risks and streamline threat remediation.

Mark Calandra, president of CSC’s Digital Brand Services division, emphasized that this integration reflects CSC’s expertise in detecting and addressing domain threats, online brand abuse, and fraud. “Our inclusion in the Cortex marketplace demonstrates our deep understanding of domain security and enhances our service visibility by integrating seamlessly into the cybersecurity workflows of our clients,” said Calandra.

Andrew Scott, director of product at Palo Alto Networks, highlighted the value of this collaboration, noting that it enables clients to access CSC’s comprehensive data and solutions through their existing Cortex products. “Given the escalating threats from brand impersonation and DNS security issues, integrating CSC’s robust data sets will help in proactive threat mitigation, including takedowns of malicious domains and improved DNS security,” Scott added.

The new integration pack for CSC’s DomainManager℠ API is now available for download via the Cortex marketplace. This partnership also offers joint clients a complimentary package of domain name and URL phishing takedowns targeting corporate portfolios, further securing against online brand threats.

Ihab Shraim, CTO at CSC’s Digital Brand Services, reiterated the strategic importance of this partnership. “In the dynamic cybersecurity landscape, incorporating advanced domain security and brand protection is essential. Our collaboration with Palo Alto Networks underscores our commitment to empowering businesses with the tools needed to defend against domain-related cyber threats and maintain their digital brand integrity,” Shraim stated.
